The Soup Kitchen and Helping Hands ministries were created to address the needs of the community-at-large. The Soup Kitchen provides meals every first Saturday at the Hammond Warming Shelter
The real and compelling story behind giving comes in its mandate & blessings. God wants us to give our first fruits, not reluctantly or under compulsion. God loves the cheerful give 2 Corinthians 9:7. Giving should flow freely from our hearts with gratitude.
God calls each of us to use our talents and gifts to connect to others and to help build the body of Christ. Serving in a ministry may lead you to experiencing a life change, or help you to change lives, and provide tremendous benefit to our community.
